Where the wonder of learning begins...

The first few years of school should open new doors of wonder and learning. Is your capable child bored with the pace at school and ready to learn more? Prism School may be your answer.

A thematic curriculum and hands-on activities keep your child excited about learning. An example of topics studied during a school year includes Plants, Settlers and Pioneers, Australia, Space, Weather and Folklore. While exploring these themes we integrate field trips to Jacklin Seed, Koi Gardens, Finch Arboretum, Green Bluff, Cheney Historical Museum, Rider Ranch, Spokane Children's Theatre, IMAX Theatre, Felts Field, EWU Planetarium and KHQ6 Studios. Student learning is also enhanced through activities such as science investigations, writing and illustrating books, dramatic performances, making covered wagons, baking journey cakes and solving Destination Imagination Challenges. We also offer diverse programs in art, physical education, Spanish and music. Music enrichment is offered through violin, piano and recorder lessons.

Our students develop a love of learning that they carry on to other educational environments such as St. George's, Summit School and City School.

If you are seeking a challenging learning environment for your child contact Diane Zahand at (509) 994-0404 for additional information.
