While studying Medieval Times the children learned how simple machines were used to construct castles, catapults and trebuchets.

Students worked with their parents to design catapults using as many simple machines as possible.

During the derby the children launched their catapults to discover which was the most accurate and which shot the farthest. Students and parents then had fun launching each another's catapults.
